REVISED REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
Please note that for the moment, there WILL be a rehearsal at Evergreen on Monday, June 23. Evergreen's school year will already have ended so it is possible this could change. Please check back here to verify if it is not confirmed at our penultimate rehearsal.

Tow truck driver who died in accident identified

The tow-truck driver who died Wednesday night when a flatbed truck he was preparing for a tow rolled on top of him has been identified by the King County Medical Examiner's Office as Shawn Cary McKinney, 44.
The incident began when police were investigating a theft in the Magnolia neighborhood. As part of that investigation, officers called Lincoln Towing to have the flatbed truck impounded, said police spokesman Mark Jamieson.
The McKinney arrived in the 4400 block of 26th Avenue West and determined that the flatbed truck was too big for his tow-truck, so he called for a second, larger tow vehicle.
He was making preparations so that the flatbed truck could be towed when it rolled on him, Jamieson said.
The second tow-truck driver discovered the accident at 10 p.m.

TIME CHANGE FOR THE COVE, SHORELINE BAND FEST ADDED
Please note that the concert time for The Cove on June 1 has been moved up from 2PM to 1PM. The Shoreline Band Festival has also been added to our calendar. The time for this one is yet to be determined. Watch for updates here, but please note both items in your own schedules.

CONCERT DATE CHANGES
Please note the following concert date changes:

• Festival of Bands Concert originally scheduled for March 12 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 25, at 7:30PM. Location is the same.
• Strawberry Festival date has changed from June 21 to June 28.

BAND PICNIC AND NEW SEASON
The Highline Band Summer Potluck Picnic will be on August 26, 2007, at the SOUTH shelter in Seahurst Park, Burien, Sw 140th St & 16th Pl Sw. Park in one of the lots near the water. Cross the creek to the left. The south shelter is just a short walk. Starting at noon. Eats at 1:30.

Rehearsals for the 37th season begin on September 10 at Evergreen High School.
